I’m a fan of author Richard Russo and especially loved his novel, Empire Falls, which won the Pulitzer Prize. He grew up in Gloversville. While Russo’s fiction isn’t about his life in Gloversville, he has said he draws on the insight he gained from growing up in a small town.
